I walk the trails through the fern
And I am home
I walk through deep green forests
And I am home
But none of this matters
When you are not there
Travels through the world of men
Causes much despair
To see the damage we may cause
To this glorious world
Mother Earth cries out to the gods
But they have faded into darkness
This blight called man and their faith
In the usurper , their one true god
Has divided man and destroyed
Our bond and oath to her
The quest for wealth and power
Has broken our bond
and in the same breath made us slaves
To the rich and the powerful
Who rape and pillage her
Here in this land of Alba
You feel so close
The heather covered hills
The deep fern covered cairns
The clear, clean lochs
I am home and I feel you sigh
My role to protect and preserve you
